The highly anticipated Masters of Bourbon series is back at Big Cedar Lodge from Thursday, October 10–Saturday, October 12. This three-day event offers guests the chance to savor exquisite bourbons and enjoy exceptional cuisine prepared by the Big Cedar culinary team.
The weekend kicks off with the Angel’s Envy Dinner, featuring a selection of five unique expressions. On Friday, dive into bourbon seminars and finish the day with your choice of exclusive bourbon dinners. Saturday brings more bourbon seminars and culminates in the Signature Event at the Buffalo Bar at Top of the Rock.

Angel’s Envy Bourbon Dinner: Thursday, October 10, 6 - 9 p.m.
Start your weekend at the historic Worman House with a 5-course tasting menu showcasing 5 variations of Angel’s Envy- the most ever hosted at an event. Guests can also upgrade their evening by adding on the VIP Tasting, where brand educator Jason Faust will host a sixth expression and light bites in Harry’s Cocktail Lounge & Bar. ($198 per person, ages 21-plus)
Lady Liberty Dinner Cruise: Friday, October 11, 6-8 p.m.
Set sail for a four-course dinner cruise on Table Rock Lake, hosted by Mark Nutsch, USA Green Beret, Ret. This event offers a guided tasting tour of Horse Soldier Bourbon’s highly awarded expressions, and the history of the heroes behind it all. ($225 per person, ages 21-plus)
Masters of Bourbon – American Whiskey’s Journey to Bourbon: October 11 at 1-2 p.m.- Join host, Jason Foust, Angel’s Envy’s U.S. Brand Educator at Harry’s Cocktail Lounge & Bar, as he guides you through American whiskey’s journey to bourbon and the impact of fortified wine on the bourbon category, highlighting fortified wine-finishing techniques that are sweeping the category. ($45 per person, ages 21-plus)
Masters of Bourbon – Holladay Bourbon Master & Mixology Seminar: October 11, 2-3 p.m.
In this 45-minute seminar at the Worman House, Master Distiller Kyle Merklein will give you tips on tasting bourbon neat as he explains the story of the Holladay Distillery. After sampling neat, National Brand Mixologist Matt Jacquinot will give cocktail tips and make variations of bourbon cocktails that can be enjoyed by everyone. ($45 per person, ages 21-plus)
Masters of Bourbon – Wild Turkey Russell’s Reserve Seminar: October 11 at 3-4 p.m.
Join host Bruce Russel at Harr’s Cocktail Lounge & Bar, for an in-depth look into Wild Turkey and Russell’s Reserve. ($45 per person, ages 21-plus)
Sunset Celebration Dinner: Friday, October 11, 5-7 p.m.
Enjoy a four-course dinner paired with High West Distillery bourbons, concluding with a special cannon ball cocktail and VIP views of the renowned Top of the Rock Sunset Ceremony. ($155 per person, ages 21-plus)
Masters of Bourbon – Wild Turkey Russell’s Reserve Dinner: October 11 at 6-9 p.m.
Experience an unforgettable Masters of Bourbon dinner at the historic Worman House. Step into history with host Bruce Russell and delve into the rich heritage of Russell’s Reserve and Wild Turkey over a perfectly paired bourbon dinner. ($198 per person, ages 21-plus)
Masters of Bourbon – J. Reiger & Co. Seminar: October 12 at 12-1 p.m.
Join host Andi Ryan, J. Rieger & Co.’s director of culture and development, for an in-depth look into the history of Kansas City’s own J. Rieger & Co. This event will take place at the historic Worman House. ($45 per person, ages 21-plus)
Masters of Bourbon – High West Distillery Seminar: October 12 at 1-2 p.m.
Join host, Cayla Gaseau, High West Distillery’s distilling laboratory supervisor for an in-depth look into High West bourbons! ($45 per person, ages 21-plus)
Masters of Bourbon – Whiskey and War Stories Seminar: October 12, 2-3 p.m.
Join former U.S. Army Ranger and Special Forces Officer Mark Nutsch at the Worman House for Whiskey and War Stories, a very rare opportunity to join one of our country’s heroes as he guides you through the tastings of this premium bourbon and shares his own stories. ($45 per person, ages 21-plus)
Masters of Bourbon Signature Event: October 12, 4-8 p.m.
Join the celebration at Buffalo Bar at Top of The Rock with over 75 bourbon tastings from top distilleries, live music, light bites and autumn views of the Ozark Mountains and Table Rock Lake. ($120 per person, ages 21-plus)
