Area appreciation at Hamner's Unbelievable Magic Show
Hamner's Unbelievable Magic Show, featuring Branson favorite Dave Hamner along with his beautiful wife Denise, and a talented cast, is holding area appreciation shows.
Now through May 3, residents of select counties in Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas can enjoy this popular show at an Unbelievable price.
Those eligible for area appreciation rates include guests living in Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Howell, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, Stone, Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster and Wright Counties in Missouri.
Residents of the following Arkansas counties are also invited to take part in the special rates: Baxter, Benton, Boone, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Johnson, Logan, Madison, Marion, Newton, Pope, Searcy, Stone, Van Buren and Washington.

First event of 2025 season at Thunder Ridge this weekend
The 2025 season of fun and festivities kicks off this weekend at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena.
The first event of the new season, this Saturday, is "Bulls, Bands and Barrels" featuring Riley Green and Craig Morgan.
Country hit-maker Riley Green will headline the concert. Singer and songwriter Riley Green is well-known for his hits "There was that Girl," "You Look Like You Love Me," "Worst Way," 'When She Comes Home Tonight,” “Different 'Round Here" and more.
Green's featured guest is Craig Morgan. Morgan is best known for such songs as "Redneck Yacht Club," "That's What I Love About Sunday," "International Harvester" and "Almost Home."
The concert will follow an exciting evening of barrel racing and bull riding.
This is just the first in a stellar lineup of performances slated for the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena this year.

Annual music fest to showcase Branson talent
The annual Branson Music Fest, a two-day event packed full of entertainment and fun, is set for this weekend.
Presented by the Branson Travel Planning Association, the Music Fest will give those in attendance a taste of the best shows in Branson, all under one roof, in two giant performances.
"Music Fest serves as Branson's Annual Springtime Festival, providing an outstanding opportunity for tour operators, travel agents, travel club planners and Branson's repeat visitors to sample a wide variety of the live entertainment options available on Branson stages," explained Toyea Youngblood of the Branson Travel Planning Association. "Whether planning for a group or just seeing an outstanding amount of talent in a single setting, Music Fest is a terrific opportunity to sample Branson."
This year's event will include shows on both Friday and Saturday. Friday's lineup includes Hot Rods and High Heels, Acrobats of Shanghai, Colton Cooper, On Fire - the Jerry Lee Experience, SIX, Queens of Soul, a Garth Tribute, Nashville Roadhouse Live, The Texas Tenors, and Clay Cooper's Country Express. On Saturday, enjoy Doug Gabriel's Ultimate Variety Show, Branson's Famous Baldknobbers, The Carpenters Once More, A Neil Diamond Tribute, #1 Hits of the 60's, Absolutely Country - Definitely Gospel, Rick McEwen, Cassandre and The Haygoods.
The BTPA continues to work hard to promote our city's entertainment to tour groups and companies across the nation.
Said Youngblood, "We have over a dozen motorcoach groups seeing the show each day, and 50-plus tour operators, travel agents and group leaders.
As in recent years, the 2025 Branson Music Fest will be held at the Clay Cooper Theatre.
"The Branson Travel Planning Association always appreciates the opportunity to partner with the Clay Cooper Theatre to host this event," Youngblood noted.
Tickets for the Branson Music Fest can be purchased by contacting the box office of the Clay Cooper Theatre at 417-332-2529. The shows begin at 2 p.m. each day, Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26.
Area residents are encouraged to attend this special annual event.
"For best seats and availability, reach out to the box office," said Youngblood. "A limited number of local seats are available for each performance."
